The third rule that helps horse herds organise is: avoid collisions, that sounds rather simple and yet it asks two things that we don't always like in organisations, adapting to the here and now and a love for reality. 

How synchronising for speed and direction builds relationship and helps you get in sync when you start and how wise leaders know that leadership like herdship is a process and often you need to follow to lead.
